de-vo-tions

The term "devotion" can mean love, loyalty, or enthusiasm for a person, activity, or cause.  It can also refer to prayers or a religious observance, exercise or practice.  No matter how you define "devotion," it takes on a whole new meaning after you have been told you only have 90 days to live!  All of a sudden, you develop a more profound dedication, consecration, ernest attachment to a cause, an allegiance, adherence, passion, sincerity, faithfulness and affection this time of private worship.  The way we do our devotions should have always been just like this list of actions I shared above.  Time restraints, other activities, and so much more take away from our time alone with God and we all know it should not be allowed.  Life takes on a whole new meaning when your fighting for your life here on Earth.

Here are some personal devotions shared by our family.  New ones will be posted weekly.
